My uncle visiting
Just recntly my uncle came up to visit. The reason being is that he lives down in houston Texas and we dont see him much. The thing that was different this time was he brought his best friend that lives with him whose name is also Evan. On Thursday we went to a pizza place called Michaels. The pizza was really good there and my and and his friend really enjoyed it. On sunday We invited my grandparents over for dinner with us. My parents had to cook a lot of food but it was a great time. Today they left after I left for school and are now back in Houston with their dogs. That expirience was one I hope I remember for a long time
Dreams
Everybody has dreams. Most of the the time though we dont remember them. Dreams can be as real as life or as sureal as teleportation devices and lightsabers. There are good dreams and bad dreams called nightmares. Dreams are the most facinating things in the world
You can dream anytime. The time they usually happen the most is in the R.E.M stage. rem stands for rapid eye movement. Yes dream can happen outside of the R.E.M. stage of sleeping but they are less rememberable and vivid.
There are so many types of dreams. The most known type is nightmares. Nightmares typically reflect stressful events that happened in the past few days these usually cause fear or sadness. One not very well known by people is night terrors. These, unlike nightmares cause terror and dread. Sleepwalking is where you "act" out a dream. I have to admit I have sleepwalked before. But the thing is, why do these dreams happen?
You may be wondering why do me dream. Some say that they regulate mood. Other think that it calms down the body wo you don't suddenly wake up. More recent research states that dreams basically lower stress. For some they cause inspiration. Usually your dreams somehow to something that happened in the recent past as in 1-3 days.
I feel like I can go on and on about dreams. There is so much to talk about and so much to learn. I am just so stunned about dreams and all that there is to them I thought they were just little kid stuff fake. I we all learn more about dreams we will learn more about ourselves and other

Extrasolar Planets
Have you ever wondered if there is something out there? Perhaps aliens, other planet like earth or is it just rocks in space? What we do know is that there are other planets out there that we call extrasolar planets or exoplanets. Exoplanets will be the most vital part of humans becoming more habitable in the universe.
Detecting these planets can be very difficult. First of all, the star that it orbits is many times brighter and usually the planet is about a million times dimmer than its parent star. There fore other mesures must be used. One is that when a planet passes in front of the star the luminosity goes down by a small bit. Another is sometimes when a star has a planet orbiting it.
Right now we dont know really how many exoplanets are out there. What we do know is based on our find 1.5% of the sunlike stars will have at least 1 companion planet. 3.5% of those sunlike stars may have a gas giant orbiting it. You can tell that the numbers are low huh?
These exoplanets are not very important now since we cant even get to mars yet but they will become handy some day. I say that the more exoplanets that are habitable that we find, the long the human race will exist. Exoplanets will someday become the human race's last hope for survival

earthquakes
You are sitting at home and you feel a shaking. vases fall over and buildings collapse. You think it is the end of the world, then it stops. This is an earthquake. Earthqukes are the most deadly natural disaster.
You may be wondering how earthquakes happen. They are caused by tensions in tectonic plates. Basically when plates try to move into each other it causes tension. eventually the tension is so strong it just lets go. and that is an earth quake.\
A earthquake that is well known for its devastation is the 2004 Indonesian earthquake. The shaking lasted for 8 ½ to 10 minutes. During that the entire earth shock 1 centimeter, that may not seem like a lot but it is. This earthquake caused 3 tsunamis. Although close to Indonesia, it also hit Sri Lanka and as far as Madagascar! 230,210 were killed in the catastrophe.
Although there have been a few bad earthquakes we are beginning to figure out when they will come. It is all about the timing and the magnitude. Let’s say in a region in the past 200 year there has been 4 7 magnitude earthquakes. Therefore there is a 50 percent chance that another 1 will happen in 50 years.
As you can see that earthquakes are quite terrifying. We have figured out when they wil hit. Sure, there has been some accidents along the way. Earthquake will always be a fear of people
